Construction Debris Removal in Doraville

The remodel is finished, or nearly, and what's left is stacked in the garage, the yard or the driveway. We load and haul off the drywall, tile, lumber and old fixtures, protect your home as we carry, and sweep the area when we're done.

Two workers in gloves load broken drywall, scrap lumber and an old cabinet drawer from a curbside pile into a black dump trailer hitched to a white pickup outside a house

Cleanup after the project, not another mess

Construction debris is heavier and messier than ordinary junk. Broken tile has sharp edges, old lumber still has nails in it, and drywall dust gets into everything it touches. We handle it as a job of its own, with gloves, tarps and a plan for how it leaves your home without scraping a door frame or grinding grit into the carpet.

This service fits homeowners who did the work themselves, hired a contractor who didn't include haul-away, or just want the last of a project out of the way. Plenty of homes around Doraville are older ranches and split-levels, so a kitchen or bath update often pulls out plaster, heavy cabinets and layers of flooring. We take all of it.

When the truck is full, we sweep, pick up the stray screws and pull our tarps. You get your driveway and garage back the way you want them.

What we haul and how we handle it

Drywall, plaster and lath

We bag the dusty pieces before carrying them through your home so the powder stays in the bag. Larger sheets go out flat on a tarp.

Tile, flooring and carpet

Ceramic and stone tile, vinyl plank, old hardwood, carpet and pad. Sharp tile shards are loaded by hand into the truck, not dragged across your driveway.

Lumber and framing scraps

Studs, trim, subfloor and old decking, nails and all. We watch for exposed nails while carrying so nothing gouges a wall on the way out.

Cabinets, vanities and fixtures

Old kitchen cabinets, countertops, tubs, toilets and sinks. Heavy pieces get moved with straps and a dolly, and we pad corners and door frames where we carry them.

Roofing, siding and outdoor leftovers

Shingles, siding panels, fencing and broken pavers from outside projects. We rake the area afterward for the small bits that hide in the grass.

Signs it's time to call us about your debris

  • The pile has outgrown the garage

Your car has been in the driveway for weeks because the garage is full of scraps. That usually means it's more than a few trips in your own vehicle.

  • Your trash service won't take it

Curbside pickup generally refuses drywall, tile and heavy lumber. If bags are sitting at the curb untouched, the material needs a different route.

  • Nails and sharp edges near kids or pets

Loose lumber and broken tile in the yard are a real hazard. Getting them gone quickly is the safer move.

  • The contractor left the haul-away to you

Many quotes cover the work but not the cleanup. We step in after the crew leaves and finish the job.

  • Rain is soaking the pile

Wet drywall gets heavy, crumbles and can start to grow mold. Our summer storms turn a dry stack into a soggy mess fast, so it's worth clearing before the next one.

What happens on pickup day

  1. 1

Call us, then we take a look

Let us know what's in the pile and where it is. We'll book a free, no-obligation on-site estimate, with same-day and next-day service when the schedule has room. Our pricing is upfront with no hidden fees.

  2. 2

    Protection goes down first

Before we move a thing, floor runners or tarps go along the path through your home and tight corners get padded. Outdoors, we spread tarps where material gets staged.

  3. 3

We carry it and pack the truck

The crew handles all the lifting. Dusty debris goes in bags, heavy pieces get strapped, and we pack the truck so nothing spills onto the road.

  4. 4

    Sweep, then check it together

We sweep the garage or driveway, pass a magnet over the ground for nails and screws, and pick up our protection. Then you walk the area with us and see that it's clear.

What sets the price of hauling debris

The price depends mostly on how much truck space your debris uses and how much it weighs. We look at the pile, walk you through the number before starting, and hold to it. Nothing gets added at the end.

How much there is
Filling more of the truck raises the cost. Gutting one bathroom and tearing out a whole kitchen produce very different loads.
How heavy it is
Tile, broken concrete, plaster and shingles weigh far more than lumber or carpet taking up the same room. Heavier loads cost more to dispose of.
Where the pile is
A tidy stack at the bottom of the driveway goes on the truck quickly. Debris in a basement, an upstairs bath or the back yard means a longer carry and more floor protection.
Loose or mixed debris
Rubble and piles of small pieces take more time to gather and bag than stacked sheets and bundled boards. Some light sorting before we come can help.

Common questions about debris removal

Something not covered here? (404) 476-8101

Should I bag or sort the debris first?

No, bagging and loading are our job. Stacking the lumber together and keeping tile in one place can make things go faster, but you never have to.

Are there materials you won't haul?

We can't take hazardous materials like liquid paint, solvents or anything you think may contain asbestos. If you're not sure about something, bring it up on the call and we'll give you a direct answer.

Could the crew damage my walls or floors?

We take steps to prevent it. Runners and tarps cover the carrying route, door frames and tight corners get padded, and heavy pieces are carried with straps rather than dragged.

Who shows up at my home?

Our own crew. We're enrolled in E-Verify, so the people we send to your property have had their eligibility to work confirmed.

Can you haul debris partway through a remodel?

Yes. Some homeowners have us take the demo debris early to free up working room, then call us back when the project is finished. We sweep up after every visit.

Do you take jobs outside Doraville?

Yes. We haul construction debris in Chamblee, Tucker, Dunwoody, Norcross and the other nearby towns on our Service Areas page.
